2009: Served as a defensive specialist as a freshman…appeared in 12 sets during the year…racked up a season-high three digs at Stetson (10/16)…had two assists vs. Bethune-Cookman (8/29)… earned A-Sun all-academic honors.
High School: Three-year letterwinner at Jensen Beach High School...helped lead the Falcons to a combined 76-15 overall record and a FHSAA 4A State Championship as a junior...as a junior, she finished with 502 assists, 59 aces and 53 digs while garnering second team all-conference and third team all-state honors...also lettered in track and field, weightlifting and basketball...in basketball, she played guard for the Falcons’ state title team as a sophomore...named to the honor roll all four years with a gpa above 3.5 and was a Florida Girl’s State Finalist...also a member of the National Honors Society...in club play, she was a member of Treasure Coast Volleyball and Palm Beach Juniors...also a 2007 AAU national qualifier in beach volleyball.
Personal: Born Feb. 22, 1991, in Los Angeles...daughter of Marc Teplitz and Mary Chryssiadis...has a brother, Alex...mother, Mary, played basketball at New York University (NYU) from 1975-79...proposed major is pre-dental and biology.
