DeUnna Hendrix
DeUnna Hendrix enters her first season as a graduate assistant at JU after completing a stellar career at Richmond as a guard, including an NCAA Tournament bid.

In four years with the Spiders, Hendrix was a team captain as a junior and senior while also leading the squad to a pair of 20- win seasons in 2004 and 2005. The Spiders also reached the WNIT Final Four in 2004 and earned a bid into the NCAA Tournament in 2005. She appeared in 104 games in her career with 56 starts, including 45 in her final two seasons with the program. A native of Kokomo, Ind., Hendrix earned her bachelor[apos]s degree in rhetoric and communications in May of 2007.

Among her other experience, Hendrix was an Assistant Camp Director for the Richmond Summer Basketball Camp in 2006 and was also a camp counselor for the event in 2004 and 2005.

A four-sport athlete in her prep career, Hendrix was team captain, first team all-Howard County, all-area MVP, first team all-state, Associated Press All-State and was an Indiana All-Star at Kokomo High School. She also led the squad to an undefeated season, a 4A State Championship and a No. 14 national ranking as a senior.
