After snapping a two-game losing skid, the JU women’s basketball team (12-10, 8-5) will complete its road swing against Mercer (12-9, 8-4) on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the University Center. The contest can be seen live on A-Sun.TV by logging on to and is the second of a scheduled doubleheader with the JU men’s team. JU leads Mercer in the all-time series, 10-9, after a 78-60 win over the Bears on Jan. 8 at Swisher Gymnasium. The Dolphins have won the last five meetings between the two schools, including the last two contests in Macon.

Against Kennesaw State, JU snapped a two-game losing skid...the Dolphins forced the Owls into 27 turnovers while tallying a game-high 17 steals...junior forward Crystal Grable scored a career-high 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field and tallied a team-high eight rebounds...senior guard DaVina Hamilton added 12 points and four steals...senior guard Regina Omoite added eight points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals while junior guard Courtney Jackson chipped in with seven points, seven rebounds and four steals.
