Women’s hoops signs two more players to round out 2010-11 class
The JU women’s basketball team is finally finished bolstering its roster for next year after signing guards Ronisha Mitchell (5-5, Wildwood, Fla.) and Ciara McLee (5-8, Converse, Texas) for the 2010-11 season.
The two additions will join Jane’l Osborne (6-0, Riverdale, Ga.), center Jenae Wilson (6-1, Saint Petersburg, Fla.), guard Jade Cargill (5-9, Vero Beach, Fla.), center Madison Scott (6-2, Atlanta, Ga.) and guard Crystal Bell (5-8, Ft. Pierce, Fla.) who each inked with the program. “We are so excited about the addition of these two guards,” said JU head coach Jill Dunn. “They were the missing pieces to fill our puzzle for next year. Ronisha is an extremely skilled point guard that we are going to count on right away as a freshman. Ciara is a two guard that has tremendous upside. Her speed and athleticism will fit right into our style of play. We are excited about both of their futures as Dolphins.” Mitchell was a four-year starter in basketball and softball at Wildwood High School in Wildwood, Fla. As a senior, she averaged 20 points and four assists a game en route to team MVP honors. She also posted 15 points and four assists a contest as a junior. McLee tallied 15 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals during her senior season at Judson High School in Converse, Texas. For the efforts, she earned first team all-district and all-region honors as well as being recognized by ESPNRise.com. 2010-11 Women’s Basketball Signees
