Women's golf ties for 13th at Sea Trail Intercollegiate

SUNSET BEACH, N.C. - - Junior Camilla Loveid finished at 13-over par for two rounds to place in a tie for 33rd place leading the JU women's golf to a tie for 13th at the Sea Trail Intercollegiate on the Willard Byrd Golf Course.
The Dolphins shot 329 on Saturday and 328 on Monday to tie The Citadel for 13th. Western Carolina won the team title with a two-round total of 590 and Ashley Hovda won the individual title with a six-under par total of 138.
For JU, freshman Therese Karlsson carded a 164 (81-83) to finish in a tie for 62nd place. Freshman Alexandra Andersen tied for 69th by shooting a 168 (81-87), while freshman Jessica Green fired a 169 (87-82) to place in a tie for 72nd. Freshman Victoria Nektheden finished in a tie for 82nd by shooting a 176 (89-86) over the two-day tournament.
The Dolphins return to action on Saturday at the Georgia State Invitational in Fort Myers, Fla.
