Women's golf finishes ninth at Pelican Preserve Invitational

FT. MYERS, Fla. - The Dolphins fired a 972 (317-324-331) to finish ninth over the three-day tournament. USF carded a 907 to take the nine-team event with Campbell's Jaclyn Perlman shot a three-over par total of 216 to earn individual medalist honors.
"It's too bad that we couldn't get more consistent scores each day,". We're still a young team. Those were pretty good scores in the conditions we played because it was very tough. This was one of the strongest fields we'll play in all year."
Freshman Jessica Green shot an 84 to finish in a tie for 37th at 242 (26-over par).
Freshman Alexandria Andersen finished in a tie for 38th by carding a 79 in the final round to end with a three-round total of 243 (27-over par). Freshman Therese Karlsson shot an 89 to finish at 257 (41-over par) and 48th place. Freshman Vicki Nektheden finished 50th with after a 97 in the final round to finish with a total of 285.
The Dolphins finish the fall season at the Stetson Fall Invitational starting Sunday, Nov. 6.
