Women's golf remains in fourth at A-Sun Championship

DeBARY, Fla. - The Jacksonville women's golf team carded a round of 327 to fall 24 shots back of Campbell after the second round of the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship.

Alexandra Andersen carded the low round of the day for the Dolphins at the par-72 DeBary Golf and Country Club with a six-over par 78. Andersen fired an 85 in the first round and moved into a tie for 12th place.

Campbell carded a 310 to take a 10-shot lead into the final round over East Tennessee State. Alejandra Shaw continued to set the pace in the individual competition, firing a three-over par 75 to finish the first two rounds at even-par to hold a five-shot lead over ETSU's Ashley Barton.

Jessica Green continued her solid play with an 81 in the second round to fall to fifth place at 13-over par. Camilla Loeveid had the next best round of the day for JU, carding an 83 to move up to 27th with a two-round total of 168.

Heather Fudge shot an 85 in the second round to fall into a tie for 16th at 164. Therese Karlsson's 87 was dropped from the team score as she fell into a tie for 22nd.

The Dolphins wrap up the tournament on Wednesday, with their first tee time set for 8:24 a.m.
