The JU women’s golf team posted its best round of the Eagles Landing Invitational, carding a 312 in the final round to finish 14th.

The Dolphins were led by a season-best even-par 72 by junior Paige Gifford, who ended up tied for 56th in the individual competition.

“Paige had a really good round today,” said JU assistant coach Pamela Shelley. “We didn’t play well yesterday and we knew we had to come back with a good round today and did it.”

Joining her in the sub-80 club was Alexanda Andersen, who shot a four-over par 76, finishing in a tie with Gifford at 236, 20-over par. Morgan Jackson completed the trio tied for 56th with an 82 in the final round.
