Women’s lacrosse season ends with consolation win over Detroit-Mercy, 17-13
The JU women’s lacrosse team ended its season with a victory in the consolation game of the NLC Tournament in Farmville, Va. today over Detroit-Mercy, 17-13. Goalie Karli Tobin and attacker Sarah Michel each picked up NLC all-tournament honors after strong performances over the weekend.

The Dolphins (8-11, 4-2 NLC) pulled away in the second half against a Titan (7-12, 3-3) team that was playing without any bench players.

April 24, 2008 - JU announces the creation of a men's and women's lacrosse program.
2008-09 - Fund raising, Facility planning, Secure league affiliation, Hire coaching staff, recruit and sign student-athletes, purchase lacrosse equipment
2009-10- Dolphin lacrosse makes its premiere (teams may not play more than five exhibition matches during the fall. Spring season consists of 17 dates beginning in February.)
