The Dolphins (2-4, 1-0 NLC) are coming off a narrow victory over St. Bonaventure, 14-12, in a game that saw the Bonnies’ second-half comeback fall short.
“We’re looking forward to a very competitive game,” said JU head coach Mindy McCord. “We showed great resolve by holding onto our lead against St. Bonaventure and I hope to see more of the same tomorrow.”
The Dolphins will be looking for leadership from freshman attacker Cassie Campasano. Campasano received the NLC “Player of the Week” nod for her seven goals and two assists last week against Boston College and the Bonnies.
The Catamounts (0-2) will be stepping onto familiar territory tomorrow as they fell to Syracuse, 19-7, at the Ashley Sports Complex on Saturday. Vermont was led by two-goal performances from both Sara Buxton and Samantha Stern.
