Early and often, JU blasts Fresno
Thirteen players scored, junior Rachel Hannon set a school record and Jacksonville outshot Fresno 46-10 as the Dolphins beat the Bulldogs 21-2 at D.B. Milne Field Tuesday.

Goalkeepers Karli Tobin and Asia Moore split time and each recorded six saves.
Not only was the JU offense hitting on all cylinders, the defense put a vise-grip on Fresno holding the Bulldogs to only four shots in the first half and six in the second. Fresno committed 22 errors.
Hannon set the single-game school record as she earned 10 draw controls breaking the old mark of six, which she held with Abby Warnken and Sarah Michel.
Midfielder Kaitlin Stewart had three ground balls as did Chelsea Watts as the team corralled 21 for the game.
The Dolphins head out on their first extended road trip of the season this weekend when they travel to High Point Friday and Davidson Sunday. They have two more road games next week.
