Blue Devils are the third top 10 team the Dolphins have faced this season

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville women’s lacrosse team puts a four-game winning streak on the line against No. 6 Duke on Tuesday as the Dolphins and Blue Devils square off on D.B. Milne Field at 2:00 pm.

Duke (6-1) marks the third top 10 opponent of the year for JU (5-2) which ranks 28th in the nation in the latest LaxPower.com computer ratings.

The Dolphins are coming off a 20-14 win over William and Mary last Friday. Senior Amanda Hurley led JU with five goals in the game earning her Atlantic Sun Offensive Player of the Week honors for a second time this season. Sophomore Taylor McCord also had a big game scoring four goals and adding three assists.

Duke, which defeated William and Mary 15-8 earlier this season, has won two straight following an 11-10 win over No. 11 Georgetown last Saturday.
