JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- Head Coach Mindy McCord is pleased to announce the newest addition to the 2014 women’s lacrosse roster, Mariah Cudlipp.
A goalkeeper from Canandaigua, New York, Cudlipp has already led an accomplished high school campaign where she assisted in directing her team to back-to-back state sectionals. In her senior year, the Honeoye Falls-Lima Cougars posted a record of 15-6 en route to a shutout, 21-0, regional championship victory. The squad went all the way to New York State’s Final Four before falling in a double overtime, 7-6, loss.
“Being on a DI team means that I’m going to work hard and make the best of this opportunity that I am so lucky to have,” said Cudlipp. “I expect to be as hard working as the rest of the girls even though I am starting late. I expect to become a part of this lacrosse gamily that will help me grow as both a player and a person and I hope to help them do the same. I’m really looking forward to this season and experiencing all this program has to offer.”
