Forwards Trine Riis Groven (Skien, Norway) and Stine Kloster (Stavanger, Norway) each scored as the Jacksonville University women's soccer team defeated Jacksonville State 2-1 Saturday afternoon at the JSU Soccer Complex.

With the win, the Dolphins improve their record to 17-1-0 overall and complete the TAAC regular-season undefeated with a 9-0-0 record. The victory extends the Dolphins' school-record winning streak to 16. The Gamecocks fall to 9-8-0 on the year, 5-4-0 in league play.

JSU took the early lead in the first half when Angela Tribble scored at 23:56 off of a cross by Emily Hulbert.

Riis Groven would tie the game at 74:56 in the match when she knocked inside the six. Kloster's game-winner came at the 86th minute off of a cross by junior forward Karen Novak (Coral Springs, Fla.).

Sophomore goalkeeper Melissa Cancio (Hialeah, Fla.) recorded seven saves for the Dolphins.

The Dolphins return to action Wednesday, Oct. 25 when they travel to Tampa, Fla., for their final regular-season match versus South Florida at 7 p.m.
