The loss drops the Dolphins record to 6-4-1 overall, while the Bulls improve to 4-4-2.
The Dolphins looked poised to take their first-ever win against South Florida when Cadiz scored an unassisted goal 7:35 into the contest to give JU an early 1-0 lead.
The Bulls would not be denied, however, as they responded with three unanswered goals. Forward Stine Hagh scored the equalizer for the Bulls in the 31st minute. The Bulls pulled away, taking control of the second half, as they got goals within minutes of each other from Aleia Long and Jen Stahl, giving them a 3-1 win.
The Dolphins return to action as they host Georgia Southern in a non-conference match, on Tuesday, October 9, at Ashley Sports Complex at 4 p.m.
