Senior forward Karen Novak (Coral Springs, Fla.) scored her second goal of the season on the matches first shot and sophomore forward Crystal Armstrong (Griswold, Conn.) added a late goal as the Dolphins (9-5-1 overall, 6-2-1 A-Sun) knocked off A-Sun opponent Campbell, 2-0, (11-5 overall, 7-2 A-Sun) Saturday at Campbell's Eakes Athletic Complex.

It took the Dolphins just 4:34 seconds to take a 1-0 lead on the A-Sun leading Camels behind a Novak header from Vanessa Illanes' corner kick. The assist was Illanes' fifth in the last three matches. The Dolphins put the match away in the 88th minute when Armstrong scored her third goal on the year, giving JU the subsequent 2-0 victory.

Despite being outshot 12-9, JU's defense was able to hold Campbell's Sara Davis, the A-Sun's leading point and goal scorer, scoreless while freshman goalie Stephanie Fowler (Seffner, Fla.) garnered seven saves to tally her fourth shutout of the season.

The Dolphins remain on the road for their next match, as they face non-conference opponent Elon on Sunday, October 28, at 1 p.m.
