JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The JU women's soccer team was picked to finish third in the 2003 Atlantic Sun Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, released by the league office today. The Dolphins return seven starters, including First-Team A-Sun All-Conference and NSCAA Regional All-American defender Hanni Wenzel (Camano, Island, Wash.) from a team that finished 15-4-2 (8-1-2 A-Sun) and advanced to the A-Sun Championship final for the fourth time in five years.

UCF, the defending regular-season and tournament champion, was selected as the favorite, while Florida Atlantic, last year's regular season co-champion, was picked to finish second. JU is followed by Georgia State, Campbell, Gardner-Webb, Stetson, Mercer, Troy State, Belmont, and Lipscomb, respectively.
