BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Sophomore forward Ranveig Aas-Hanssen (Skien, Norway) scored the lone goal for JU, as the Dolphins fell to Campbell, 3-1, in A-Sun women's soccer action Thursday night. The Camels scored all three goals in the second half en route to winning their eighth consecutive match. Sophomore Amber Otto (DeLand, Fla.) had five saves for the Dolphins, who fall to 6-10 overall, 4-4 in the A-Sun. Sara Davis led Campbell (10-6, 7-1 A-Sun) with a goal and an assist.

Tracy Taddonio gave the Camels a 1-0 lead in the 49th minute when she took a pass from Davis and attempted a shot from 25 yards out that bounced off the cross bar and landed in the goal. Five minutes later, Susan Persson put Campbell up, 2-0, with an unassisted goal off her own rebound. Davis added an unassisted goal in the 65th minute to increase the lead to three.

Aas-Hanssen put JU in the scoring column with an unassisted goal in the 80th minute. Erin Switalski collected seven saves in goal for Campbell.

The Dolphins return to action when they play at Gardner-Webb on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m.
