The Dolphins and Bees played three, 30-minute periods, with many of the visitors seeing significant minutes.
“We saw a lot of good things from our younger players today,” said JU head coach Brian Copham. “SCAD is a good team and it was nice to get a chance to see how we stack up against actual competition. We now have a good idea of what we need to work on building up to next week’s opener.”
The Dolphins will begin the season on the road next Friday against Furman and will play four more away contests before returning to the friendly confines of the Ashley Sports Complex on Sept. 5 for a non-conference tilt against Winthrop.
