JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville women’s soccer team is headed to the NCAA Tournament. The Dolphins have been selected for a first round match-up at No. 5 Florida on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 2:00 pm.

“We’re extremely excited to be heading to the NCAA Tournament, said Head Coach Brian Copham. “Florida is one of the best teams in the nation so we’ll be in for a great challenge. We’re looking forward to competing next weekend and extremely proud of the way our team has competed to this point.”

Jacksonville (12-7-1) earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament by winning the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament with a 5-3 penalty kick victory over Florida Gulf Coast on Sunday.
