Eric Dade joins the Dolphins for his first year as an assistant coach for the JU women's soccer team.

Dade joins JU after spending his last three years as the Executive Director/Director of Coaching for the Birmingham United Soccer Association, where he coached and administered both the U.S. Development Academy and Elite Clubs National League teams.

With the Birmingham United Soccer Association, Dade handled everything from budgeting to website development. Under his leadership, BUSA won over 30 AYSA State Cup Championships, finished third at the 2009 National Championship Series and placed over 200 players in college programs.

Dade was also the director and head coach of the Birmingham United USSF Development Academy where he oversaw scheduling, recruiting and on and off the field player development. The academy had qualified for the USSF Development Academy Playoff every season under Dade and has received high grades from US Soccer regarding the program.

During a spell in Texas, Dade coached the Dallas Sting and the Texas Longhorns Soccer club teams with the Sting winning multiple national championships. He was also an assistant coach for the U-18 boys national team under head coach Bob Jenkins.

As a player, Dade received his degree from VCU and was inducted into its hall of fame in 2000. Dade played soccer professionally for nine years with the Dallas Sidekicks, Baltimore Blast and the Dallas Burn.

Dade and his wife, Angelique, have two children, Cameron (10) and Chase (4).
