The Dolphins dominated the singles draw, winning five matches in straight sets and only dropping 23 games in the victorious contests.
“What a great result for us,” said JU head coach Shane Wood. “I was so pleased with how our team played against a tough opponent. It was nice to see everyone forget about last weekend and focus on a victory today.”
The Dolphins got things started on the right foot, winning the doubles point, 2-1.
The singles matches followed suit as junior Eve Castaing won the first match for JU, 6-4, 6-2. Senior Tatiana Soldatova clinched the victory for the Dolphins with a 6-0, 6-3 win.
The Dolphins are back in action next Saturday when they take on UCF at the Keith Watson Family Tennis Complex.
