Senior Natasha Harvey recorded three top marks at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational on Feb. 7, which has her earned Atlantic Sun “Athlete of Week” honors for the second time in less than two weeks.

The jump is currently second in the country and bested her NCAA automatic qualifying mark of 21’0.5” (6.41m) from two weeks earlier.

She also set a new school record in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 7.92 to finish as the top collegian (third overall).

"Natasha is performing at a high level across the board; her jumps, hurdles and sprinting has all gone to the next level,” said JU head coach Ron Grigg. “We look forward to her keeping this up at the A-Sun Championships to help us put together a good team performance.”

Harvey finished the meet taking third place (top collegian) in the 55-meter by running a 7.13.

In the A-Sun rankings, her long jump and 55-meter hurdles marks take the top spot, while the 55-meter time is good for second in the conference.

Harvey and the Dolphins return to action beginning Feb. 20 when they head to Johnson City, Tenn. in search of their four consecutive conference title at the Atlantic Sun Indoor Track & Field Championships.
