JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The JU women's outdoor track & field team will travel to Clemson, S.C. this weekend to compete in the Atlantic Sun Championships in search of their third consecutive title.

The Dolphins, who are ranked No. 64 in the nation, will look to match the success of their indoor team, who claimed their third consecutive title on March 1st.

"The A-Sun Conference continues to improve and the championship meet continues to become more competitive," said JU head coach Ron Grigg. "We will rely on balance, quality and depth in an attempt to achieve our goal of winning the meet this year. We expect each athlete and each event group to achieve their best results of the season."

Last season the Dolphins had 16 all-conference performances and six conference champions, while also having 15 of their 17 participants score points in the meet. Along with their team success, Natasha Harvey and Janel Grooms both qualified for the NCAA Championships.

The A-Sun meet will be held in Clemson, S.C. for the first time in its history.
