Kellie Roberts Wins Men's Long Jump At FSU Relays

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Kellie Roberts (Lauderdale Lakes, Fla.) won the men's triple jump with a distance of 13.73 meters, and Lisa Lee (Roswell, Ga.) placed second in the women's triple jump (11.39m) and third in the long jump (5.39m) Friday afternoon as the track and field team competed in day three of the FSU Relays in Tallahassee, Fla. at Mike Long Track.

Kate Clarke (Arlington, Texas) placed fourth in the women's 400-meter dash (58.18), while Safiya Davy (Mitchville, Md.) ran a 14.04 in the women's 100-meter dash to finish fifth. Ayesha and Asjah Muhammad (Indianapolis, Ind.), twin sisters, tied for seventh in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:18.62.

Adriana Campos (Lake Park, Fla.) ran her personal best of 17:42.94 in the women's 5,000 meter run to place eighth overall, and later led the Dolphins to a fifth-place finish in the distance medley (12:55.54).

In men's action, Kenneth Baxter (New York, N.Y.) crossed the finish line of the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.43, good enough for third-place, while Brent Alexander (Tampa, Fla.) followed with a sixth-place time of 22.23. Tyrone Wright (Jacksonville, Fla.) jumped 13.24 meters in the triple jump to place fourth.

The Dolphins continue competition in the final day of the FSU Relays tomorrow.
