Track's Dani Ivanochko Earns All-Conference Honors at A-Sun Championships

TROY, Ala. - Despite missing a month of competition due to a knee injury, sophomore Dani Ivanochko (La Ronge Saskatchewan, Canada) was able to earn Atlantic Sun All-Conference honors after placing third in the long jump in the conference championships in Troy, Ala. The Dolphins ended the season with an eighth-place finish at A-Sun Championships.

Along with Ivanochko's third-place finish, JU senior jumper Lysa Lee (Roswell, Ga.), ended her Dolphin career with a fourth-place finish in the triple jump and finished fifth in the long jump.

The Dolphins also got season-best performances from Tiffany Wright (Lauderdale Lakes, Fla.), who ran a 25.04 in the 200-meter dash prelims and finished fifth in the finals. Kate Clarke (Dallas, Texas) ran a 56.60 in the 400 and Laura Winn (Wilmington, Mass.) ran a 2:21.29 to finish fifth in the 800-meter run.
