Women's Cross Country Finishes 14th out of 32 Teams At Disney Invitational

WINTER PARK, Fla. - Sophomore Lindsey Moffenbier (McDonough, Ga.) finished 31st out of 289 runners, while freshman Stacey Ollar (Jacksonville/Mandarin) placed 74th in the 5K race to help lead the Dolphins to a 14th place finish out of 32 schools at the Disney Invitational Saturday in Winter Park. Richmond won for the women with a score of 53 points, while Allison Mascas of the University of Tampa won the individual title with a time of 17:46.32.

Ryan McKenzie of Windsor led the men's team to a first place finish, while winning the 8K race in 24:34.71.

Freshmen Jason Coates (Jacksonville/Fruita Monument HS (Colo.) and Matthew Harrell (Belding, Mich.) were the only men's runners to place for JU, finishing 206th and 223rd, respectively.

The Dolphins return to action when they compete in the Stetson Hatter Invitational next Friday, Oct. 17.
