TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Senior Safiya Davy (Mitchellville, Md.) qualified for the NCAA Regionals in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 13.81, Friday at the Florida State Relays.

The Dolphins posted 11 top-10 finishes, led by senior Andrea Pressley (Upper Marlboro, Md.) who was the top collegian in the long jump, fourth in the shot put and the number four collegian in the 100 meter dash. Senior Tiffany Wright (Lauderdale Lakes, Fla.) was the top collegiate finisher in the 100 meter dash and the number two collegian in the 200 meter dash. Davy was also the third collegiate finisher in the 200 meter dash.

Other Dolphins cracking the top-10 were Keiona Frenche (Riverdale, Md.) who placed second in the 800 meter, Lakisha Brooks (Upper Marlboro, Md.) who took fifth place in the 400 meter, Ashley Williams (Oklahoma City, Okla.) who took seventh in the 400 meter and Stephanie Jeffers (Marston Mills, Mass.) who placed ninth in the shot put. Jeffers also added a 21st place finish in the discus throw.
