Women's Cross Country Places Third At Georgia State Invitational

ATLANTA, Ga. - Sophomore Lindsey Moffenbier (McDonough, Ga.) finished fourth among all Division I runners and ninth overall to lead the Dolphins to a third place finish at the Georgia State Invitational in Atlanta on Saturday. JU finished the meet with 75 points, ahead of Troy State (83) and Tennessee State (115). Georgia State won the meet with 17 points, followed by Lipscomb, with 70 points. Jenn Feenstra of Georgia State won the 3K race with a time of 17:46.

Christina Bensi (Troy, N.Y.) was the next Dolphin runner to cross the finish line, placing 39th (20:10).

The Dolphins return to action when both the men's and women's cross country teams compete in the Disney Invitational in Orlando, Fla. on Saturday, Oct. 11th.
