Heptathlete Andrea Pressley Leads After Day One of the Florida Relays

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville University senior heptathlete Andrea Pressley (Upper Marlboro, Md.) is the overall leader after day one at the Coca Cola Florida Relays, Wednesday, after finishing first in the 100m hurdles and the 200m, while finishing second in the shot put. Pressley placed in the middle of the pack in the high jump.

The heptathlon concludes tomorrow with the long jump, javelin and 800m. Pressley had five top-10 finishes in the heptathlon last season and finished 13th overall at the 2003 NCAA Championships. Pressley owns the school record in the shot put with a put of 14.05 in January.
