Women's cross country finish 12th, Men 15th at FSU Invitational

Tallahassee, Fla.- - The Jacksonville University women's cross country team placed 12th, while the men's team finished 15th at the FSU Invitational on Saturday morning.

Sophomore Fallon Heffernan led the Dolphin women placing 23rd with a time of 18:55.01. Senior Lindsey Moffenbier finished 48th with her time of 19:41.01, while senior Rachel Garvin ranked 86th (20:33.60). Junior Stacey Ollar placed 112th with a time of 21:18.56 and sophomore Danielle Coyle finished 123rd (21:47.76).

JU's men was paced by Sophomore Jeff Wolf, who finished 118th with a time of 30:22.96. Sophomore Trebor DeVerter ranked 128th with a time of 31:45.59. Senior Kevin Stuart placed 135th (34:13.64), while sophomore Charlie Allen finished 136th (34:13.32). Senior John Hofferman placed 141st with a time of 37:03.92.

The JU cross country returns to action on Thursday, September 30 at 4 p.m. as they host the JU Short Duals.
