June 25, 2007

It's never too late to add runners as the JU track and field team announces the signing of J'Zotta Rolle (Orlando, Fla.) for the 2008 season.

Rolle, a four-year letterwinner at Edgewater High School, finished third at the Florida 4 A state meet in the 300 hurdles with a time of 42.84. She won the Golden South Classic in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:02.45 and also has a personal best of 14.50 in the 100 hurdles.

"We are excited to add J'Zotta to an already deep and talented signing class," said JU head coach Ron Grigg. "Coach Ford and Coach Bigg have done a great job in developing her hurdle skill. She will impact the Atlantic Sun Conference immediately in both hurdles and will challenge for spots on our relay teams."

Rolle will join local product Laura Phillips (Nease/St. Augustine, Fla.), Stephanie Brown (Ft. Myers, Fla.), Unique Singleton (Kissimmee, Fla.) and Stacey Young (Lithonia, Ga.) on the track for the Dolphins next season.
